Notice of Closure on the Štrekna Cycling Path in Straže

We would like to inform you that renovation works on the bridge along the Štrekna cycling route in Straže – Goričnik will begin on Monday, 18 May 2026.

Due to the works, this section of the cycling route will be completely closed. A temporary emergency detour will be arranged for users. The detour will lead before the cycling bridge along the embankment, across a temporary footbridge over the public road JP 761531 Šiman–Marakov jarek, and then back onto the cycling route.

The works will take place from Monday, 18 May 2026, to Friday, 22 May 2026, inclusive.

We kindly ask all users for their understanding, caution and compliance with the temporary traffic signage.

Other notices

1. On the section between the roundabout at the Kovtr Bridge and the Dravograd Bus Station, traffic is diverted onto the busy main road due to construction work – please drive carefully.

2. On the temporary bridge in Šentjanž, which was set up after the floods, cyclists ride on the road. Please be especially careful.
