The learning path of the Pearl dwarf

The trail begins at Lamperček Homestead and features six information points presenting the rich history of the Mill Valley. The guided tour lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. A local guide welcomes the group, hands out brochures, and introduces the trail in front of a linden tree over 500 years old—planted, as the story goes, during the Turkish incursions.

Gonžar rock

Šaleška Valley’s countryside hides more than hiking – it offers serious climbing, too. Gonžar Rock features Slovenia’s most challenging via ferrata, graded D/E. You’ll spot this striking rock wall in Vinska Gora when approaching from Arja Vas. The route ascends 70 vertical meters with steel cables as the only aids – no artificial holds. It’s a pure adrenaline rush, but safety first: only attempt the climb with proper gear – helmet, harness, self-belaying set, climbing shoes, gloves, and appropriate footwear.
